WebObjects™ is a premier, powerful, and very exciting application server system from Apple. Shire.Net provides WebObjects hosting services. We know WebObjects and can affordably host your WebObjects applications.
Shire.Net's WebObjects hosting is an add-on service to our virtual domain hosting package. It can also be added to the virtual machine hosting. You can host as many WebObjects applications under your domain name as you wish, for one low price. This covers WebObjects 5.x Java version only. Unfortunately we cannot host WebObjects 4.x applications.
Cost: $70/month added to the normal virtual hosting package. This fee covers our license and upgrades of the WebObjects system, and the additional overhead cost on the servers for running WebObjects applications. Setup and installation is $20/hour. Depending on your needs, setup is usually 1-2 hours.
To add WebObjects hosting to a virtual machine hosting package requires either your WebObjects Deployment License or $750 to acquire a license. In addition, a $40/month fee to cover the additional overhead of running WebObjects applications in the Java environment. Setup and installation is the same at $20/hour. Such installations usually take 2-3 hours.
